BOWES - Brice James Bowes, 45, died yesterday at the home East Seventieth. A son, James Bowes, 22, of 403 Spruce, found the body. Mr. Bowes had complained of chest pains Sunday night. Mr. Bowes was born in West Line, Mo, and had been a resident of Kansas City twenty-five years. The last five years he had been a foreman in the materials department of the General Motors plant.

Also surviving are wife, Mrs. Lucy Fern Bowes of home, five brothers, Lloyd Bowes, Fresno, Calif.; Karl Bowes, Louisburg, Kans.; Kenneth Bowes and Emmett Bowes, Cleveland, Mo., and Raymond Bowes, 4215 Charlotte; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Milner, 3419 East Seventh, and Mrs. Mary Lacy, 5808 Raytown road, and his mother, Mrs. Mary Bowes, 3419 East Seventh.
