Peggy Harper-Posante, 70; New Albany
Funeral services for Peggy Harper-Posante, 70, New Albany, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at Legacy Funeral Center, Jeffersonville, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. She died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013.
She retired from South Central Bell after 35 years of service. She was the past co-owner for eight years of P&P Billiards in Louisville, was an excellent seamstress and an avid bowler. She also enjoyed spending her free time gardening.
She is survived by her two siblings, Betty Harper, New Albany, and Dr. Keith Harper and his wife, Johnnie, North Carolina; two nephews, Troy Paris and his wife, Tanya, Sellersburg, and David Harper and his wife, Alexis, North Carolina; two aunts; an uncle; and numerous cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Posante; and parents, Homer and Nelly Harper.
