Erected to the Memory of
JAMES GILBERT
Late Brewer in the North Back of Canongate
who departed this life 22d June 1777 aged 48 years;
and also to the memory of
GRIZEL GILBERT, his daughter and spouse of
George Rae, Candlemaker in Edinr.
She died the 29th of June 1797 aged 54 years.
