Price— Joan Raydell Fleming Gilmore passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, July 3, 2011 at the age of 80.

Joan was born May 1, 1931 in Midwest, Wyoming to Eugene V. Fleming and Dorothy L. Anderson Fleming. Her Father passed away in 1964 and her mother passed away in 2001.
She was a Jobes daughter while attending school in Midwest, Wyoming. Her family moved to Powell, Wyoming in 1948 where she graduated from High School in 1949. She married Daniel E. Gilmore on April 22, 1950, in Basin, Wyoming. They lived in Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, and California while raising their children. They moved to California in 1967. Joan and Daniel sold their California home in May of 2007 and traveled in their Motor home until they bought a home and moved to Price in May 2009.

For 28 years, Daniel has been a member of the Elks Club #2117 and Joan was a member of the Elks Emblem Club #413 for 28 years in Livermore, California.

Joan was an avid yard and garage sale enthusiast, she went everyday of a yard sale to get the best buys for her money. She also went to area stores daily looking for specials buys for her extended family. Joan loved camping (Life member of Good Sam), rock hounding and making jewelry (Livermore Lithophiles member), spending time with her children and many grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Daniel E. Gilmore of Price; children: Linda J. Madsen (Chris) Jensen of Huntington, Utah, Patrick A. Gilmore of Bakersfield, California, Victor D."Happy" Gilmore of Helper, Utah; Sister Marcia Moore of Phoenix, Arizona; 14 Grandchildren, 30 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren, numerous Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Dorothy Fleming; 2 daughters, Sharon Domreis, and Susan Gilmore; 1 son, Steven Gilmore; 1 granddaughter, Lisa Hicks; 1 grandson, William Madsen.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 16, 2011 at the Heritage Funeral Home in Huntington. There will be a viewing at 10:00 a.m. prior to a service at 11:00 a.m. Friends and family may sign a guest book and share their memories of Joan at the services and also at www.heritagefuneralhomeutah.com

Services are in the care of Heritage Funeral Home in Huntington, Utah. She will be cremated following the services.
