He worked as an engineer on the railroad. He wasn't a veteran.
He had been residing at 915 W. 24th St. in Odessa, Texas before entering the nursing home.
He died at the age of 93 at Snyder Nursing home where he had resided for 3 months. Cause of death was congestive heart failure and arteriosclerosis. Nellie had preceded him in death.
