LUEBELLE LUCAS REICHLE
June 17, 1920 - July 24, 2007


Luebelle Lucas Reichle peacefully passed away on July 24, 2007 in Brawley, Ca.
She was born on June 17, 1920 in Beaver, Oklahoma to Wesley and Chlora Hibbs. She married Dalton Lucas in 1935 and had two children, Bobby and Jeanette. In 1937 she moved to San Diego, California where her and her husband owned a grocery store for many years. She moved to Holtville, California in 1955 and owned and operated Park Manor Motel until her retirement in 1991. Luebelle resided in Holtville for 52 years and loved the small town atmosphere. She enjoyed taking walks around town and loved going fishing with her son and daughter. She married Bob Reichle in 1968 and together they operated the Date City Store in Holtville.
Graveside services will be held Monday, July 30 at 9 am at Evergreen Cemetery in El Centro, CA. with Pastor David Strong officiating. She was preceded in death by her parents Wesley and Chlora Hibbs of Oklahoma; her husbands, Dalton Lucas of Holtville and Bob Reichle of Holtville; her children, Bobby Lucas and Jeanette Turner of Holtville; son-in-law Johnnie Turner of Holtville; great-grandsons Michael Hulvey and
Eddie Tanori of Holtville; sisters Jenny Phelps of San Diego, Eleanor and Faye Hibbs of Oklahoma; brother Lonnie Hibbs of Oklahoma.
Luebelle is survived by many family members who loved her very much. Daughter-in-law, Georgia Lucas of Holtville; grandchildren Anna Cannon, Marc Lucas, Donna and Justin Brady, Diana Smitham, Robbie Lucas, Bobby and Sheryl Turner, Danny Turner all of Holtville, Jim and Debbie Turner of Calipatria and Robin Hulvey of Fyfee, Alabama; sister, Mae Riggs of Oklahoma and brother Alzo Hibbs of Texas.
She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren who adored her and she was extremely proud of; numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Pepper.
