Funeral services for Clifton Tremaine Garrett are scheduled for the New Beginning Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Davis Memorial Gardens.

Clifton Tremaine Garret was born to the parentage of Curtis Garrett and Flora Black on January 14, 1981 in Lufkin and died Dec. 5, 2013 in Lufkin.

He received his education from the Lufkin Independent School District graduating with the Class of 1999. Clifton attended the Abundant Life United Methodist Church. His livelihood consisted of spending quality time with his family especially his aunts and sister. He enjoyed basket ball, dominoes, and his favorite basketball team was the Indiana Pacers. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

* his mother, Flora Black of Dallas
* father, Curtis (Stacey) of Lufkin
* brothers, Tyvance Black, Key ‘Vantanie, Morozzney House, all of Lufkin
* sister, Cherlyric Garrett of Lufkin
* niece, Tiara Black
* special nephew, Deterion (Treat) of Lufkin
* numerous aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends. Special friends: Crystal Martin, Earnestine Nichols and Alvin Glenn.
