Funeral services for Mrs. Flossie Brock Kizzire, age 83, of Fayette, were held Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, at Noon, from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Whitson Cemetery. The Rev. Raymond Fowler and the Rev. Matt Weems officiated.
Mrs. Kizzire was born Dec. 12, 1930. She died Dec. 12, 2013 at Fayette Medical Center Long Term Care.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rueben and Mellie Jane Brock; brothers, Graham Brock, Howard Brock, Carlton Brock and Hamilton Brock; sisters, Vergie Watkins, Annie Lou Taylor and Lucy Neese.
Survivors include her husband, Herbert Kizzire of Fayette; two sons, Andy Kizzire and Phillip (Karen) Kizzire, both of Fayette; one daughter, Judy (Ray) Williams of Rogersville; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearer was Mike Kizzire.
Active pallbearers were Chase Williams, Phil Kizzire, Clint Hambric, Jordan Morrison and Jerry Kizzire.
