Scott Morgan
COOLIDGE — Scott Lee Morgan, 30, died peacefully on Dec. 9, 2013.
Mr. Morgan was born with severe cerebral palsy on April 14, 1983, and had a lifelong loving relationship with his father, Tom Morgan, who was his primary care provider. He enjoyed watching his favorite cartoons, Yogi Bear, Garfield, The Flintstones and Ninja Turtles, and playing video games. He loved weekly visits to Grandma's, having Coca-Cola and pizza, and going on shopping trips to Wal-Mart and the mall.
He loved sitting on his dad's lap, listening to his dad sing and play the guitar, and reading Bible stories with Uncle Jerry. He especially enjoyed when family and relatives came to visit him and opening gifts on birthdays and Christmas. He was a graduate of Mesquite High School in Gilbert.
Survivors include his parents, Thomas P. Morgan and Donna J. Morgan of Gilbert; his paternal grandmother, Janice Morgan of Coolidge; and maternal grandmother, Helen Maas of Case Grande. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Donald W. Morgan and Carl Maas.
A scripture service will be held at noon Friday at Heritage Coolidge Funeral Home, with burial in Heritage Valley Memorial Park.
