Victor Stanley, 78, of Carmel Valley died Thursday. He was born in Millville, N.J. Mr. Stanley was retired after working as a mechanical engineer. He served in the Army during World War II and belonged to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Alumni Association and the Church of the Nativity.
Survivors include his wife, Estelle B. Stanley; daughters, Marsha Marie Stanley and Denise Aline Stanley of San Diego; sons, Dale Patrick Stanley of La Jolla and Mark Alexander Stanley of Los Angeles; and four grandchildren.
Services: 2 p.m. today, Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, Point Loma.
