Peacefully entered into eternal rest on December 7, 2013. Beloved son of the late Bishop Henry C. Brooks and Mother Willie Brooks. Longtime member of Way of the Cross Church of Christ (Mother Church), 9th and D. Sts., NE, Washington, DC. Bishop Alphonso D. Brooks, Senior Pastor, Bishop Walter J. Thompson, Sr., Pastor, Elder Henry C. Lancaster, Sr., Assistant Pastor, Elder Richard J. Simon, Church Administrator.

He leaves to cherish his memory three sons, Henry C. Brooks, Antoine M. Brooks (Melissa) and Von-Keith Brooks; one daughter, Tiloria B. White; five grandchildren, one brother, Bishop Alphonso D. Brooks; four sisters, Ruth B. Lancaster, Bertha B. Simon, Evalean B. Cook, W. Remona B. Miller and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, many friends and his church family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie M. Brooks; four sisters, Isabell B. Ford, Essie B. Lindsey, Naomi B. Postell, Olivia B. Yelder; two brothers, John Brooks and Joseph Brooks.

On Friday, December 13, 2013 friends may visit with the family from 9 to 11 a.m. at Greater Morning Star Apostolic Ministries (Host Church), 1700 Ritchie Marlboro Rd., Largo, MD where services will be held at 11 a.m. Bishop Charles E.
