Sandra Lynn Chambers, 60 years, 4 months, and 30 days old, passed to heaven on December 12, 2013 at Mercy Hospital, Springfield, MO with her family by her side.

Sandy was born July 13, 1953 in Ava, MO to Raymond "Dutch" and Audra Gertrude (Driskell) Dobbs. She graduated from Ava High School.

She was an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) and had worked in St. John's Hospital in Springfield, MO. In the summer time of 1990 Sandy and David Lee Chambers were united in marriage in Eureka Springs, AR.

Sandy was a Chistian and had attended the Faith Rock Church in Ava. She loved traveling and loved to see the ocean. Sandy also enjoyed her cars,… like her Monte Carlo and her Mustang and her cats and dogs. Sandy was a caretaker and adored her family.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents; a step son, Brad Lee Chambers and a sister Darlene Calvin.

Sandy is survived by her husband, David Chambers, Ava, MO, two step children; Patricia Hoefer, Seymour, MO and Mike Chambers, Topeka, KS, six step grandchildren, one brother and wife, Don & Pat Dobbs, Ava, MO, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Sandy will be Monday, December 16, 2013, 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Turkey Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Ray Dobbs.
