Martha Boyd Brady Anderson peacefully moved to heaven on August 26, 2013. She was surrounded by family and friends during the two weeks of her illness. She was born July 10, 1931 to Tom and Mamie Sue Brady in Memphis, TN. She was the beloved wife of Andy Anderson. They were married 63 years and were completely devoted to each other. She was a faithful member of Harrisburg Baptist Church. She raised a family of seven children and lived in Memphis, TN, Grenada, MS and her last 36 years were spent in Tupelo. She was truly the matriarch of the Anderson family. She had a card ministry that touched the lives of hundreds of people. She also was known for placing gospel tracts everywhere she went. She was fun loving and people oriented. Her life was selfless and she devoted all of her time and energy to the care of her husband and children. She was married to the love of her life Gerald Lamar (Andy) Anderson. Her children were Susan McMahan of Tupelo, Deborah Ransom (Richard) of Tupelo, Rev. Ken Anderson (Candy) of Clinton, Becky Coe of West Point, Bonnie Herrington (Chuck) of Tupelo, Toby Anderson (Jeannine) of Brandon and Stacy Willingham (Matt) of Saltillo. She had 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday at Harrisburg Baptist Church with Dr. Forrest Sheffield officiating. Visitation will be 5 – 8 Tuesday and 10 – 11 Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Chad McMahan, Jeremy McMahan, Joe Geiger, Brennan Anderson, Tyler Anderson, Charlie Herrington, Nick Coe, Brady Anderson, McCarty Anderson, Kori Creel and Matt Ellis.
