Bonita (Bonnie) J. Mitchell, 74, of Harrisburg, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 1st, 2013 at Carolyn Croxton Slane Hospice Residence. She was born in Harrisburg, on September 3, 1939, to the late Virginia Miller.
She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority Chapter, Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem Bethany Shrine #7, Eastern Star Estrellita Chapter 512, and St. Mark's Evangelical Church in Harrisburg.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, William H. Mitchell of 45 years, a son; Andrew P. Mitchell, a daughter; Andrea L. Merlo (Perry) and 4 Grandchildren; Hayley Mitchell, Ethan Mitchell, Serena Merlo, and Christopher Merlo.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice of Central PA 1320 Linglestown Road Harrisburg, PA 17110.
