Mrs. H.T. Godi of Pilot Point Dies

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Assembly of God Church at Pilot Point for Mrs. Tiletha Elizabeth Godi, who died at her home there Sunday after an illness of several years. Rev. L.A. Tolar of Arkansas was minister in charge and assisted by the pastor, Rev. Marcontell of Pilot Point, and Rev. Herbert Johnson of Aubrey. Burial was in Belew Cemetery.

Mrs. Godi is survived by her husband, Henry T. Godi, and the following children: Mrs. Amos Brewer of Sanger, George Godi and John Godi of Denton, Mrs. Ollie Bottoms of Stony, Clarence Godi of Tioga, Willie Godi and Mrs. W.T. Sweeney of Pilot Point, and Mrs. Abbie Clearman of Vincent. Pallbearers were six grandsons: J.t. Sweeney, Roy Godi, Weldon Brewer, Henry Bottoms, Charlie Godi and George Albert Godi. Granddaughters were flower girls.

Mrs. Godi was born in Jefferson County, Illinois, May 11, 1862, and was 77 years of age. She was married in Illinois in 1882 and this couple came to Texas to make their home 43 years ago. They have resided in Pilot Point for the past 23 years.
