Mrs. Chambers was a church secretary and a member of Midwood Baptist Church for over 60 years. She loved to spend time with her family and church family.
She is survived by her daughter Wanda Chambers Alhizer and husband Al of Charlotte, NC, son Cliff Chambers and wife Susan of Matthews, NC, granddaughters, Amanda Thomas and husband Brad of Monroe, NC, Leslie Chambers of Charlotte, NC, great-granddaughters, Emily Bashus and Lauren Thomas and a brother Henry Monroe "Pete" Taylor and wife Mary Lou of AK. The family wishes to thank the staff of Carmel Hills for all their loving care.
Funeral service was held at McEwen Funeral Service Charlotte Chapel, 5716 Monroe Rd., Charlotte, NC 28212, conducted by Reverend Doctor Garry Baldwin. Interment followed at Sharon Memorial Park.
