Joy Lee Hill, 85, of Oktaha, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2013. She was born in Council Hill on November 26, 1928 to Benjamin Houston and Mae Davis. Joy attended school in Wainwright, OK and on December 7, 1945, she married Maston Hill, Jr. after he returned from serving in the Merchant Marines. They moved to Oktaha in 1951 where they resided and raised three children. Joy enjoyed watching OU football, gardening and listening to Elvis. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Maston Stephen Hill, Jr.; son, Benjamin Maston Hill; granddaughter, Becky McCoin; brother, Marvin Davis; and sisters, Modean, Dora, Lilly, and Clovis.
