She was born March 3, 1940, in Seneca to Roy and Myrtle (Camp) Stubblefield.
She married Ronald Dougherty on June 19, 1959, in West Frankfort.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald Dougherty of Marion; two daughters, Lisa (Rick) Hawn of Indianapolis and Dawn (Todd) Heinrich of Paducah; five grandchildren, Ashly Denny, Amanda Bales, Robyn Hawn, Ryan Heinrich and Brandon Heinrich; five great-grandchildren, Julian, Ephraim, Harrison, Lainey Grace and Stella; and two brothers, Richard (Sue) Stubblefield of Zeigler and Keith (Rebecca) Stubblefield of Jacksonville, Fla..
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Stanley Stubblefield; and niece, Rhonda Murphy.
Joyce was a member of First Church of God in Marion, and was a self-employed cosmetologist.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, in Parker Reedy Funeral Home in West Frankfort with the Rev. Roy Petmiller officiating. Burial will be in Denning Cemetery in West Frankfort. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Passages Hospice and will be accepted at the funeral home.
