Services for Derrel Dean Pierce, 48, of Bastrop were at 3 p.m. today in Hillcrest Cemetery with Pastor Gary DeSalvo officiating.
He died Friday, January 9, 2004.
He was born in Wellington, Kansas, to Don and Betty Pierce, and was married to April Fletcher on March 14, 2001.
He was an employee of Central Texas Roofing in Buda.
Survivors are his wife, of Temple; one daughter of Bastrop; a son of Dallas; one stepson of Temple; one stepdaughter of Temple; and four brothers.
Sheffield Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, a trust fund for his daughter will be at Bank of America.
