Andrew "Andy" Robert Roach, 53, of Park Rapids, MN, died on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the Heritage Living Center in Park Rapids.
Andrew was born on February 5, 1957 in St. Paul, Minnesota, the son of James and Martha (Jacobs) Roach. He grew up in Circle Pines, MN and graduated from Centennial High School in 1975. He went on to attend St. Cloud State. He moved to Park Rapids in 1988 where he began working for RDO Foods as a purchasing agent, he was employed there for 19 years. Andy enjoyed 4 – wheeling, fishing, tinkering in the garage, and listening to classic rock music.
He is survived by Michelle Roach of Park Rapids, MN; 4 children – Brittany (John) Johnson of Park Rapids, MN; Brian (Amber) Roach of Zimmerman, MN; Derek (Krystal) Boyd of Wadena, MN; Desiree Roach of Park Rapids, MN; 3 grandchildren – Hailey, Luke, and Audrey Roach. Two sisters – Jane (John) Haveman of Missoula, MT; Terry (Randy) Collette of Park Rapids, MN; Two brothers -Tim (Pam) Roach of Circle Pines, MN; Tom Roach of Park Rapids, MN. Several loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents – James and Martha Roach, and his nephew – Jeff Kreger.
Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Park Rapids, MN. Pastor Josh Hawn will officiate. Visiting time will begin 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Active Urnbearers will be Bob Pugh and John Koester.
