Connie Walker Kirby age 70 of Locust Grove passed away December 9, 2013.
Survivors are her sister Joe Ann Walker Edwards & husband Johnny L., uncle Martin Helms, nephew Mike Edwards, niece Kathy Edwards DeFore & husband Kenny, family friend Evie Brown and other extended family members, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Oakland Baptist Church at 11 a.m. on Friday December 13, 2013. Her body will lie in state for one hour prior to the service. Pastor Mike Smith will officiate. Interment in the Fairview Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Thursday December 12th from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Connie was a member of Oakland Baptist Church, she also taught four year old Sunday school. She served in The Good News Club for two years at Oakland Elementery School.
