Elizabeth Poston Hanna Rogers HEMINGWAY -- Elizabeth Poston Hanna Rogers, 87, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at her home. She was born in Hannah, SC, a daughter of the late Olie and Pearlie Taylor Poston. She worked in retail sales and was a member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Surviving are her children, Barbara (Marion) Baxley, Robert Hanna, Myretha (Kenny) Davis, Dale (Lisa) Hanna, Becky H. Jaynes, and Lucinda Hanna; brothers, Ervin (Sunny) Poston, Franklin Poston and Randy (Judy) Poston; sisters, Sara (Jimmy) Cagle and Johnnie Holladay. She was blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a very loving foster daughter, Betty Jean (Roger) Cribb. She was pre-deceased by husbands, Robert Jeff Hanna and Herbert Linwood Rogers; two granddaughters, Rebecca Juan Davis and Mandi Elizabeth Laster; four brothers, Reo Poston, J. W. Poston, Kirby Poston and Carnell Poston. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, December 13, 2013 in the Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to the Hospice Care of SC, 136 N. Academy St., Kingstree, SC 29556 or Ebenezer United Methodist Church, PO Box 188, Hemingway, SC 29554.
