She was born June 12, 1906, in Collins, Iowa, daughter of Milford and Dora Armstrong Patterson. On June 22, 1927, she was married to Fred Nuzum, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He died Feb. 10, 1969.
Mrs. Nuzum was a member of the First Christian Church and Pettis Chapter 279, Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include three sons, Fred Nuzum, 621 West 23rd; Charles R. Nuzum, Kansas City; Larry Lee Nuzum, Springfield; a sister, Mrs. Neadra Coger, Lee’s Summit; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Ewing Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Magee officiating.
Pallbearers will be Elmo Pfetcher, Archie G. Hughes, Robert Hawkins, Roy Alexander, Wallace Ward and Jesse White.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
