She was educated at Maine State Seminary and Westbrook Seminary.
At one time she taught school at Hebron, ME.
She is survived by a daughter Mrs Lewis M Irish; five grandchildren Benjamin, Horace and Maynard Irish all of Rumford, ME; and Mrs Clara Howard and Robert Stetson both of Dixfield, ME.
