John Worrall Edwards, age 82, of Minnetonka, died on Friday, April 23, 2004. His spirit lives on in the hearts of those that love him. He was born on August 24, 1921 to Arthur and Olive (Olson) Edwards in Minneapolis. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia Champion; children, Cody (Nancy) and Callie (Jim Lord); grandchildren, Timothy Hanssen, Patricia Hanssen (Jason Mills), Jadwyn Edwards; step- grandchildren, David (Sue) Kuhl, Mary Soligny and Steve Kuhl; six great-grandchildren; brother, Arthur O. (Gail); nieces, Danae (Hassan) Kasbi and Jan Edwards; and many other family and friends. John was preceded in death by his son, Darce Champion; and daughter, Darby Jo. John was a co-founder of EDCO products in Hopkins. He was an active member of the Minnetonka A.A., a member of Rotary International- Hopkins Chapter, and a founding member of the Minnesota Soaring Society. Funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 27, 2004 at 12 noon at Lakewood Cemetery Chapel, 3600 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis with visitation on Monday from 5-8 PM at Huber Funeral Home, 520 Second St. Excelsior. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to New Thought Church, Long Lake. Huber Funeral Home Excelsior Chapel
