Mrs. Houser was born in Fillmore county and grew up in Geneva, graduating from Geneva high school in 1916. She was married to Roland Houser, who was agriculture teacher in Geneva high school. The family lived in Wahoo, where Mr. Houser was county agent, a number of years before moving to Lincoln 15 years ago.
Mrs. Houser is survived by her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Paul Musser of Austin, Tex.; two grandchildren; one sister, Emma McGraw; and three brothers, John McGraw of Oklahoma City and James and William McGraw of San Bernadino, Cal.
Mrs. Houser has served as a saleswoman and a school secretary since moving to Lincoln. She was a member of St. Teresa's Catholic Church.
Funeral services were held at St. Teresa's at 9:30 a.m. today, Thursday, with Rev. M. M. Kaczmarek officiating. Burial was at Exeter where her parents are buried.
