Blanche West Barker passed away at the Avalon Care Center in Bountiful, Utah on December 09, 2013. She was born August 12, 1925 in Benjamin, Utah the daughter of the late James Albert West and Eliza Ann Vincent. She graduated from Spanish Fork High School in 1943. After WWII she married Donald Dean Barker on February 1, 1947 in Provo, Utah.
She is survived by her sons, Kenneth Barker (Svetlana), Denver, CO, Douglas Barker, Murray, UT, daughter, Bonnie (Barker) Hayes, Ogden, UT and granddaughter Ariel Hayes, Ogden, UT. She is also survived by her sister-in-laws Marie (Barker) West, Delores (Peterson) West and Beth (Nelson)
West. She was proceeded in death by her husband, parents, brothers: Vincent, Ray, Willard (Bill), Reed, Allen and Ralph West; sisters: Sylvia Barney and Rozelda (Rose) Taylor and infant son, Maurice Barker.
A small funeral service will be held Friday, Dec 13, 2013 at 1:00 pm in Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South, Springville, Utah. A viewing will be held from 6 - 8 pm Thursday, December 12 at Wheeler Mortuary and one hour prior to the service at the mortuary. Burial in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
