Charles lived in Greensboro for about 20 years and was employed with Industrial Piping Co. He had moved to Florida about 2 years before his death.
He was survived by his wife, a daughter Mrs. Ruth Emmert of Little Rock, Ark.; one son, Charles E. Flowers Jr. of Cleveland, Tn. a brother, H. D. Flowers of Charlotte, two sisters, Mrs. Grace Cox of Mount Holly and Mrs. Alice Cox of Matthews.
