Steve Connor age 71 passed away December 7 2013 at the Henderson Health and Rehabilitation Center.
 
He was born June 9 1942 in Chester County the son of the late Robert and Dorothy Linton Connor. He attended schools in Chester County. He married Joye Bailey on December 22 1962. They made their home in Henderson where they operated Connor's Furniture Store. He was a member of the Sanford Hill Baptist Church. He enjoyed Antique Auctions, gardening, and farm animals. Mr Connor served as County Commissioner for eighteen years and served as Chairman of the Nursing Home Committee.
 
He is survived by his wife, Joye Bailey Connor of Henderson; three sons, Steve A Connor and wife Kathy of Jackson, Chris Connor and wife Marilyn of Lebanon and Shane Connor and wife Stacy of Henderson; grandchildren, Adam, Alyssa, Jake, Joshua, Presley and Kylie and four step grandchildren and four step great grandchildren.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Tammy Connor in 1963; a sister, Dorothy Kimbell and four brothers, Loyce Connor, Neal Connor, Billy Connor and Jerry Connor.
 
Funeral services at Shackelford Funeral Home – Johnson Chapel with Bro Stacy McCollum officiating and burial followed in Unity Cemetery at Jacks Creek TN.
