Mr. Jerry Lee Watts, age 52, of Purlear, died Saturday, December 7, 2013 at his home. He was born August 4, 1961 in Forsyth County to Juanita Watts. He was a member of Yellow Hill Baptist Church and retired from Tyson Foods. Mr. Watts was preceded in death by a grandson, Koda Lee Gauge Watts.

Surviving are his wife, Clara Woodie Watts of Purlear; two sons, Corey Smith Watts and wife Jessica of Ferguson, Nathaniel Bruce Watts of Purlear; daughter, Victoria April Watts of North Wilkesboro; his mother, Juanita Watts of Winston Salem; sister, Ginger Smith of King; and three grandchildren, Makenzie Opal Barnett, Page McNeill and Sage McNeill.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 o'clock Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Yellow Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Ratliff and Rev. Stanley Wyatt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Miller Funeral Service from 6:30 until 8:30 Friday night. Flowers will be accepted. Miller Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
