Charles "Punchie" Dosher, 85, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013 in his home.
He was born in Morehead City, NC and lived in Cameron until 2005 when he moved to Gillis. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Gillis. He retired from the state of LA as an engineer on the Cameron Ferry. He is survived by his daughter, Brenda Dosher Mooney; sons, Ronald Dosher and wife, Cheryl of Gillis and Christopher Dosher and wife, Laurie of Bluffton, SC; sister, Doris D. Peralta of Chesapeake, VA; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Adrienne (Tootsie) Dosher.

His funeral service will be 10am Tuesday, December 10, at First Baptist Church of Gillis. Rev. Glenn George will officiate. Visitation is from 3-8pm Monday, December 9 and will resume 8am until service time at the church. Burial will follow the service at First Baptist Church of Cameron Cemetery in Cameron, LA. Family request that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to First Baptist Church of Gillis or First Baptist Church of Cameron Cemetery Fund.
