Mr. Bradley Carl "Pete" Turner, age 77, of Hanover, Indiana, entered this life on May 2, 1936 near Saluda in Jefferson County, Indiana. He was the loving son of the late Carl and Addie King Turner. He was raised on a farm in Saluda Township and was a 1954 graduate of Saluda High School where he played basketball. Pete was inducted into the United States Army on December 13, 1954 in Indianapolis, Indiana during the Korean War. He was raised to the rank of Specialist 3 serving in the Mrt Battery First Combat 14th Infantry. He was honorably discharged on December 12, 1962 from the reserves during the Vietnam War receiving the Good Conduct Medal. Bradley was united in marriage on November 21, 1958 at the New Prospect Baptist Church to Linda L. Bowyer. This happy union of fifty five years was blessed with a daughter, Carole Evonne and a son, Steven Bradley. Pete had worked early in life for Thompson Glass Dairy in Madison. Pete was employed for over twenty years with the Jefferson Proving Ground in Madison, retiring as a proof director. After retirement, Pete enjoyed working for Chandler Chevrolet for several years. Pete was a member of the New Prospect Baptist Church, the Camm Car Club, Jefferson Post 9 of the American Legion and Saluda Alumni Association. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, his 1967 Oldsmobile and watching basketball. He was a loving husband, devoted dad and grandpa. Bradley died on Saturday, December 7, 2013, at 6:39 a.m. at the Davis Elderly Care Home in Hanover, Indiana.

Bradley will be missed by his loving wife of fifty five years, Linda L. Bowyer Turner of Hanover, Indiana; his loving daughter, Carole Evonne Koerner and her husband, Jess of Nabb, Indiana; his loving son, Steven Bradley Turner and his wife, Jill of Lagrange, Indiana; his loving grandchildren, Todd McGlothlin, Ryan McGlothlin, Madison Turner and Max Turner; his adoring great grandchildren, Ryan Scott, Katelyn, Kelsie, Raylon, Landon and Talyah; his sisters, Evonne Siebenthal of Indianapolis, Indiana, Judith Searcy and his wife, Jim of Sanders, Kentucky; his brother, Wesley Turner of Hanover, Indiana; his brothers in law, Dennis Bowyer of Saluda, Indiana, Delano Bowyer of Brooksburg, Indiana; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Turner died Jan. 24, 1981; his mother, Addie King Turner died, May 25, 1986; his brothers, Gale Turner, died Feb. 12, 1925; Loren Turner, died Sept. 2, 1997; his sister, Lucile Harsin, died Feb. 14, 1966, and his brother in law, Eddie Bowyer.

FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. by the Rev. Richard "Dick" Bowyer at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the New Prospect Cemetery near Saluda, Indiana

VISITATION
Friends may call Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.

MILITARY HONORS
A final salute will be conducted on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre conducted by Jefferson Post 9, of the American Legion. Full military honors at the graveside by Jefferson Post 9, of the American Legion.
