Marcella H. (Davis) Adams, 87, of Harwick, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013. She was born May 13, 1926, in Natrona Heights, the daughter of the late Martin and Anna Helfen Simon. Marcella was of the Catholic faith and a member of the former St. Mathias Church in Natrona. She enjoyed her flowers, especially all yellow flowers, trips to the casinos, was an avid Steelers and Penguins fan and enjoyed spending time with her family. Marcella is survived by her husband of 27 years, George T. "Tom" Adams; her children, Sharon (Bill) Ungemach, of Charleston, S.C., William (Patricia) Davis Jr., of Natrona Heights, Kathy (Jack) Lorish, of Verona, Melanie (Pete) Bonaroti, of Verona, and Jeff (Nancy) Davis, of Natrona Heights; stepson, Rick (Monica) Adams, of Fairfax, Va.; eight grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, William F. Davis Sr., in 1982; and by her brothers, Joseph, Martin and Andrew Simon. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the CICHOLSKI-ZIDEK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights, 724-224-8688, where funeral ceremonies will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Officiating will be the Rev. Edward Volz. Private burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
