Frankie Lee Crawford was born to James Robert Crawford and Martha "Mattie" Catherine Jones in 1895 in Texas.
Frankie went on to marry Robert Lee Bowyer.
She passed away on July 30th, 1945 after a battle with lung cancer.
We used to own a painting of Frankie and my Great Grandmother, Katherine Elizabeth Doss Mead, kept it hanging above her bed for a number of years. We lost the portrait some years ago, but it is my mother's recollection that in the painting, she wore a fur stole and was a woman of unspeakable beauty.
