Miller, Clarice Mary (nee Klutho), age 88, died Monday, December 2, 2013 at St. Peters Manor, St. Peters, Missouri. She was born January 23, 1925 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Eugene Theodore Klutho and the late Clara Mary Klutho (nee Ortmann). Raised in Overland, Missouri, she graduated from Ritenour High School in 1943. She then worked as a stewardess for Ozark and TWA airlines. On December 26, 1953 she married Edward S. Miller, who preceded her in death on October 10, 2002. To them were born five children, which they raised in Ferguson, Missouri, all of which survive: Michael (Sharon) Miller of Jefferson City, Missouri, Daniel (Diane) Miller of Fort Collins, Colorado, Susan (Francisco) Linan of Kirkwood, Missouri, Amy (Mark) Turner of St. Charles, Missouri and Matthew (Lori) Miller of St. Charles, Missouri. In 1973 she began work in the night school office of the University of Missouri - St. Louis (UMSL), retiring from there in November of 1986. She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren: Jeremiah (Liz) Miller, Paul (Kendal) Miller, Matthew (Kacy) Miller, Kristin Miller, Benjamin Turner, Jacob (Kristin) Turner, Kathleen Miller, Christopher Miller, Alexander Linan, Nicholas Linan, Luke Turner and Victoria Miller and one Great-Grandchild, Autumn Grace Miller. She is also survived by two brothers, Roy (Shaney) Klutho of Florissant, Missouri and Victor (Joan) Klutho of St. Louis, Missouri. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Eugenia (Jeana) Harris and Marianne (Mimi) Pauly and an infant sibling. Tootie, as friends and relatives called her, enjoyed reading, walking, bicycling, her grandchildren, a chatty time and McDonald's ice cream cones. Her body was cremated. Her ashes will be buried with her husband in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Services: A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Peter Catholic Church in Kirkwood, Missouri on December 21, 2013 at 10:00am. Following the Mass, friends and relatives will gather at the home of Amy and Mark Turner for a reception.
