Cemetery information by Mandi Brown:

Came across your listing for Charity McMichael. I am a historian from NW Missouri and I am reclaiming a local abandoned cemetery where children and or grandchildren of Charity are interred, as well as Charity and her husband John. In a local publication from 1882 (History of Nodaway Co) and local cemetery info, Charity is listed with two of her sons, the following appears: William S Kennedy, born 18 Feb 1813 of Guilford Co, NC, son of John Kennedy (1785-1863; John was 81y 1m 5d) and Charity McMichael (1786-1870; Charity was 80y 2m). William died 12 Oct 1889 at 70y 7m 24d, buried at Cain Cemetery, Green Twp, Nodaway Co, Mo. He was married twice: 1-Mary Birt on 8 Oct 1835. Mary was a native of Greene Co, Ohio born 26 Mar 1813 and died 5 May 1858, buried at Cain. Six known children: John H., Henry B., James M., Alfred R., Levin A, and Archie Mc. Three known children: Mary F., and George W 28 Sep 1865-14 Aug 1868, Edgar died 14 Aug 1868.

Another son: S. T. born 29 Sep 1830 of Fayette Co, In died 4 Sep 1909. He was known as Judge Kennedy because he served as a County Judge for a number of years, and was considered quite good at fairness. S.
