Nina C. Miller, 102, died Nov. 14, 2013, at Thorne Care Center at Wesley Towers. She was born June 2, 1911, to James Monroe and Dell Davis Gevedon in Grassy Creek, Ky. She attended Ezel High School, Ezel, Ky., and graduated in 1932.

On Oct. 18, 1966, she married Clarence R. Miller in Clintwood, V a. He died Feb. 6, 1990.

Survivors include: stepson, J. Ron Miller and wife Lonnie, Warren, N.J.; granddaughter, Sarah Januzzi, Berkley Heights, N.J.; grandson, Ron Miller Jr. and wife Cheryl, Warren, N.J.; six great-grandchildren; sister, Rella Mullins, Frenchburg, Ky.; many nieces and nephews; close friend, Barbara Hedges, Arlington, Kan. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bert and Noel Gevedon; sisters, Kathlyn Carroll, Eugenia Fall and Helena Elam.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at Wesley Towers Chapel, Hutchinson, Kan., with the Rev. Dennis Wallace presiding. Burial will follow in Arlington Cemetery, Arlington, Kan. Friends may sign the memorial book 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Elliott Mortuary. The casket will remain closed.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Good Samaritan Fund at Wesley Towers or Hospice of Reno County, all in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
