She sang Southern Gospel Music for 38 years with Wendy Bagwell & the Sunliters. At the age of 20 she joined Wendy Bagwell along with Little Jan Buckner and then the rest was history. The group was one of Gospel Music's best ever. She was the subject of the famous "Rattle Snake Story" that Wendy tells all the time. Wendy goes on by saying to Jerri...."Look to see if there is a back door to this church" and Jerri responded by saying, "I already looked and there ain't one." The group went on travelling Europe and all over North America. Jerri will always be known for her beautiful singing and her love for the Lord.
