MOUNT HOLLY - Phillip R. Gladden, 54, of 229 W. Catawba Ave. died Dec. 7, 2003, at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte.
He was a native of York County, S.C., son of Catherine Weaver of Lexington and the late Oscar Pete Gladden.
GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 1 p.m. Wednesday, Chapel of Serenity at Hillcrest Gardens
VISITATION: One hour before the service, Carothers Funeral Home
Mr. Gladden was retired from Duke Power and was an Army veteran.
SURVIVORS: Mother, Catherine Weaver of Lexington, N.C.; children, Kelly Gladden of Mount Holly, Kathy Whitenight and husband Chris of Charlotte, Kasey Caldwell and husband Timothy of Mount Holly; siblings, Tommy Eubanks, Eddie Gladden, Donna Little, Kay Bard, all of Lexington; two grandchildren, Kaley Price and Kassidy Whitenight
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: Wife, Betty Jo Day Gladden
