Betty attended School # 70 and graduated from Shortridge HS in Indpls.She and
Fred Huls were married shortly before he was sent overseas.Fred was killed before his son Alan was born. In 1946 Betty met & married Jim Bumgarner and they had three more sons.
Except for a short stay in El Paso,Tex.,she lived in Indianapolis,Indiana.for
many years at 5124 Beech Drive. She was employed at L.S.Ayres & Co department store. At Betty's the "welcome mat" was al-
ways out,for which I was most grateful whenever I was back in Indy for a visit.MCH (Betty's sister, Marianna Crossland Hamilton)
