Christopher JesseLee Perez, 16, of San Angelo, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Dec. 6, 2013, in a local care center. Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013, in Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Emilio Sosa officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. Christopher was born Aug. 8, 1997, to Mary Ann Garcia in San Angelo, Texas. He was student at Central High School. He was a very special happy, full of life person. He loved hugs, always willing to give and receive many hugs. He loved his sister very much, family, motorcycles and going to school to ride the bus. His favorite thing was Scooby Doo. Pallbearers will be Luciano Ray Olvera, Isaac Garcia, Manuel Garcia, Julian Olvera, Luciano Olvera and Daniel Mejia. He is preceded in death by a brother, Troy Coby Perez, grandmother Virginia Garcia; and an aunt, Georgia Garcia. Survivors include his mother, Mary Ann Garcia and Daniel Mejia of San Angelo; sister Mekayla Perez; grandfather Jesse Garcia and Sally Hernandez of Big Spring; aunt Isabel Garcia and Dale Worthan of Big Spring; uncles Manuel Garcia of Houston, Julian Olvera of Seguin, Luciano Olvera and wife Norma Colguna of Edroy, Texas; cousins Isaac Garcia of Big Spring, Georgia Olvera and Gillian Olvera, both of Edroy, Texas, and Luciano Ray Olvera and wife Patricia of Lubbock; and many other cousins, aunts and uncles.

The family wants to extend a special thank you to Chris's teacher Mrs. Palmer, classmates and teachers aides for showing compassion to Chris in all aspects of his education.
