AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Kenneth Drye entered into rest Saturday, September 7, 2013. Funeral service will be held Friday, September 13, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Goodman officiating. Burial will be at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Milledgeville, GA at 2:30 p.m. He was a native of Brooklyn, NY; a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and a United States Army Veteran. Survivors are a devoted friend, Mary; his children, Pastor Anthony Gilmore (Gail) Pastor Patricia Butler (Pastor Darren), Melvin (Theresa) Donald (Sukanya) and Dr. Bettye Drye-Glover (Marcus); grandchildren; great grandchildren; Sisters and brothers, Catherine New, Weyman Carey, Shirley Drye Satchel, Linda Drye, Richard Byrd and Maxwell Drye; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
