He was the son of Albert and Irene (Tocha) May. Clarence married Vera McMeekin on February 12, 1954. He served in the United States Army, was a member of the VFW Post of Richmond, IL. and also a member of the Twin Lakes Sportsmans Club. Survived by four sons; two daughters-in-law; 6 grandchildren; four great grandchildren and two sisters.
