Burial will follow at Orchard Mesa Cemetery. A visitation will be noon to 7 p.m. Thursday, January 11, 2001, at Martin Mortuary. Mrs. Corn died January 10, 2001, at her home. She was 84. She was born April 7, 1916, to Ell B. and Ada Lee (Armstrong) Davis in Custer County, Oklahoma. She married "Boots" Corn on April 14, 1938, in Glenwood Springs, CO. A resident of Grand Junction since 1935, she and her husband "Boots" worked side by side in the early years of Corn Construction. "Boots" died December 6, 1995. Mrs. Corn enjoyed gardening and feeding the quail around her home. She also loved cooking for her family and friends. . . . Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Grand Valley, P.O. Box 60307, Grand Junction, CO 81506. Arrangements under the direction of Martin Mortuary.
