Daughter of Odist Bernard Foster and Julia Harriet Woodfin Foster. Passed away September 25, 2005 in Tomball, Texas. Preceded in death by her husband Otto Erich Martens, and son Kenneth Wayne Martens, brothers Leonard, Howard, Preston, and Carter Foster. Survived by daughter-in-law Jacky Martens, granddaughters; Bridget Williamson, Danielle and Diamond Martens, many nieces, n! ephews and cousins. After graduating from the College of the Ozarks in 1935, she started her teaching career at Chapel Hill in 1936, moved to Bellville in 1942, then started teaching in Tomball ISD in 1947 until she retired in 1973. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Tomball,Texas since 1952.
