She suffered from infantile diabetes all her life. This condition did not stop her from living the life to the fullest. She was a dedicated social worker in Tacoma, Washington and worked as a welfare examiner for the state Department of Social and Heath Services.
Miss Holstrom, of 8208 E. B. St., was born in Seattle and had lived in Tacoma 25 years. She was a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University and the University of Puget Sound. Miss Holstrom was a member of the Misfit's Bowling League and Immanuel Baptist Church.
She never married and no children. She was survived by her mother and sister.
She is buried in the same "Rose" cemetery section as her father and mother.
Mountain View Funeral Home was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
