A native of Wellington, Texas, born Aug. 7, 1918, Edgar died in San Francisco, Saturday, July 23, 2005, at the age of 87. He was the loving husband of the late Mary Fuller of 55 years. A U.S. Air Force veteran, retired colonel, World War II and Korea, and recipient of three Distinguished Flying Crosses, 38 combat missions during the European campaign, and a B-17 pilot. He is survived by his daughter, Lindy Epp of Livermore and many other relatives. Friends are invited to attend a graveside committal service at 11 a.m. Friday, July 29, at Hartley Cemetery, Lakeport.
