PANAMA CITY, Fla. - Gaylord Gaiser, 79, went to his eternal rest on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012.

He was born July 12, 1932, in Hilliard, Pa., the son of Wayne and Helen Gaiser

Gaylord married the love of his life, Carole Paine, on July 2, 1955, in Orwell. Gaylord served in the U.S. Army and was a Korean War veteran along with his best friend and brother, Quay Gaiser.

Gaylord is survived by his daughters, Valerie Anderson and husband, Skip, and Vanessa Weltlin and husband, Bill; grandchildren, Alison Irvin and Billy Weltlin; a brother, Quay Gaiser and wife, Joni, and Harriet Gaiser; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at a later date.

Contributions in Gaylord's name may be made to Catholic Charities or the Humane Society of Bay County.
