Mrs. Joyce McMullan Bowden Kyles, 89, of Conroe, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2013, in Conroe, Texas. Visitation with the family will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, December 6, 2013, at Corley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 7, 2013, at the Corley Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Rick Lamb officiating. Due to weather conditions there will be a private interment in Oakwood Cemetery in Navarro County.
Joyce was born in the vanished community of Tupelo, Navarro County, Texas, to the late Thomas Clark McMullan and Mary Anna McCord McMullan.
She was preceded in death by first husband, W.M. "Bill" Bowden, Jr.; second husband, Sherman Charles Kyles; and brothers, Robert McMullan and Charles Dewey McMullan.
Survivors include her daughters, Mary Ann Cluxton and husband, Paul, of Willis, and Barbara Bowden Day, of Conroe; grandchildren, Holly Cluxton Williams and husband, John, Todd Cluxton and wife, Courtney, Benjamin Day and wife, Tasia, Casey Cluxton Georgi, Janica Day Boles and husband, Matthew, and Brandon Day and wife, Keri; great-grandchildren, Macaylie Georgi, Parker Boles, Doran Georgi 8, Hayden Cluxton, Reiss Williams, Easton Georgi, Bailey Boles, Karli Day, Adleigh Day, and Teagen Cluxton; sister, Marjorie Roberts, of Waco; many other relatives and numerous friends.
