Roger D. Andrews, 77, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2013.
He was the husband of Joyce Berg, whom he married on February 14, 1961.
Roger was born April 12, 1936 in Sayre, PA, the son of the late Herbert E. and Leona Bryant Andrews. He was a graduate of Wellsboro High School.
Roger was one of the first Eagle Scouts of Middlebury Center, PA. In 1968, Roger founded Andrews Well Drilling, Wellsboro, PA. He was employed at Osram-Sylvania, retiring after 40 years. Roger attended First Baptist Church, Wellsboro, PA. In addition he was a member of the Wellsboro Moose. Roger served in the National Guard for 15 years.
Surviving are his wife, Joyce of Wellsboro, PA; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Lee Wright, Mansfield, PA and Karen and Glenn Trowbridge, Middlebury Center, PA and son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Marie Andrews, Wellsboro, PA; former son-in-law and business partner, Joe Hastings; four grandchildren and one step-grandson, Kevin Wright, Mackenzie Hastings, Lynsey Hastings, Kendall Hastings and Jacob Trowbridge; several nieces and nephews.
